Just what I didn’t need. A midweek away game when I’ve got a very stressful week at work and a streaming cold. I wasn’t sure what food opportunities there’d be at Luton, so I went out for lunch with friends from work. It’s just a local pub and the food is pretty standard pub fare, but there are several vegan options. To fill me up I had the vegetable fajitas. There’s definitely some packet sauce going on that’s a bit too sweet, but its OK and very filling. Then I just had a banana later on after the match.
Result: Luton Town o – Everton 1 Man of the match – Leon Osman
Verdict – Lucky vegetable fajitas!
